Glen Kangas
Glen grew up in the San Gabriel Valley and graduated from Temple City High School. He then went on to UCLA and obtained a degree in Political Science. After that he became a Real Estate Appraiser having found his true passion.
He has been an appraiser since 1993 appraising homes all over Southern California with a wide range of experience including REO’s, Luxury, 2-4 unit, ADU, TIC and Cooperatives and is an expert witness in Los Angeles, Orange and Santa Barbara counties.
After starting his own business, GA Appraisals, Inc. in 2004, he worked for many years on his own enjoying the daily variety from being an appraiser and exploring the food scene in the areas he worked! In 2020 he developed a passion and a process for Mentoring and Training new appraisers in the industry and continues to train new appraisers in the industry.
In Networking Circles, Glen is known as “The Cold Hearted Appraiser” due to his independent, unbiased analysis.
